Blogger mom brings down Chicago School Superintendent

I like this story, you should too.

Mother of a 6th grader in Chicago Schools sees a no bid contract–and the super goes down.

Illinois is famous for corruption–the old tradition when I was in high school boarding with guys from Chicago was–sure its corrupt but its a town that works.

I would beg to differ–Chicago is a dead man walking because of race politics, and corruption in electoral politics that goes back many decades, even before Daley.

Here’s the story of the mom who was looking through the contracts and saw something that made no sense, a no bid contract that had the stink of corruption.

As Lifson says, the woman should get a blogger Pulitzer, but the media will pretend it never happened.

Or that they were the ones who did it.
