Feel sorry for the Greeks–you kiddin? Greece must accept responsibility but instead they talk socialist victim nonsense

Greece has alwayus been a socialist fever swamp. Now the piper asks to be paid.

So the toll is 350 billion for 11 million Greeks–tough.

NYT people feel sorry for the Greeks–who are seriously irresponsible. There is no free lunch boys–and you eventually do run out of other people’s money.

  1. In the Bible, there is a story about Joseph in Egypt, interpreting a dream that the Pharoah has. The dream is about having seven good years for agriculture, followed by seven bad years of agriculture. The Pharoah starts storing up grain and goods during the good years, when the prices are low. Then, when the bad years come, the Pharoah holds back on the food until the people are so desperate that they sell him their flocks, then their lands, and then themselves.

It may be time for the Greeks to decide what they have, that would be worth something to the people that have food and money. Would it be worth it to them, to sell themselves into indentured slavery, in order to have just basic needs taken care of? And is this a precursor of what will come to all of us, as our governments over-extend on borrowing money, to support lifestyles which are too opulent? The bubble will eventually burst.
