Mercury–oh how scary

I think that judges are completely incompetent to assess EPA regulatory proposals.

Mor importantly lawyers for various interests are incompetent to litigate these matters.

This is inane nonsense.

  1. The root, or genesis, of the problem with the rulings of courts as well as the proclamations that are issued by the EPA is that very few of the members of Congress who voted to pass the legislation that the Courts must use when judging the actions of the EPA (and most other federal agencies) were knowledgeable enough to judge whether the laws for which they are voting are not in conflict with the laws of nature.

Few people whose scientific knowledge qualifies them as competent to legislate on matters that have a science basis are interested in taking on the fund raising and the political campaign grind that is necessary if they are to be elected to the offices which need the scientifically qualified office holders. We be screwed.
