Lawrence Kogan, an expert in trade matters, also is very leery of what can loaded onto trade agreements. Kogan has taught me about how this is done, for example the precautionary principle, a silly and very devastating concept, is built into trade agreements with the EU because they have enshrined the precautionary principle in their regulatory system.
