Charles Battig on made to order junk science on temps

Charles discusses junk scientists performing like circus animals or snake oil salesmen–maybe Richard Feynman’s Cargo Cultists?

Charles wrote this very good essay on post modern science quackery, published today at American Thinker–he will be on the podium with me and Enstrom and Young on Thursday in DC at the Heartland Climate Conference.

The “express” paper produced by the junk science rag Science proposes to make the pause in any warming go away with an “adjustment” of the surface temp records. The authors claim that the land surface records were running too cold (imagine that, considering the heat island effect) and they have made the proper corrections.

The planners for the IPCC and the Paris climate treaty meeting are most grateful, but isn’t the surface temp record always the record that gets adjusted?

It ran too hot long ago, now it runs too cold? MY MY. Nice work Charles.
