The fracking study is not what the enviro’s wanted

The draft of  EPA’s fracking study shows minimal impact on drinking water.  I wonder how much the final will change. The draft study says the impact on drinking water is rare and limited to just a few of the thousands of wells.  Forbes and Politico see this a generally positive for the industry and in line with some of Obama’s agenda for increased use of natural gas.  We’ll see how much of this is revised after the comment period, but for now the claims of environmental disaster from fracking have lost their edge.

  1. Sadly, it appears the greens will make the most of the study, spinning fears of toxins leaking into water, irresponsible industry, methane, earthquakes, etc. Even American Thinker fueled the fire:

  2. I hope that governments in Australia will take note and tell the protestors where they can stick their signs…. ouch!!

  3. The truth will drive them ‘fracking’ crazy.
