Has NOAA ‘busted’ the pause in global warming?

A new way to curve fit, make the data fit the model? I’ve maintained data required by various environmental permits and regulations for years. If I adjusted those data like these folks seem to do, I’d be in jail.

A new blockbuster paper published today by NOAA:

These results do not support the notion of a “slowdown” in the increase of global surface temperature.  

Color me ‘unconvinced.’

  2. Well, after homogenizing the data to death they can get whatever result they want.

    Per RSS, and UAH, the warming stopped nearly 20 years ago. Settled science.
