How we know the it’s political science

The machinations for the Paris Climate summit are to craft a legally binding deal that doesn’t require U. S. congressional approval.  This seems to be today’s echo chamber on the run up to the Paris negotiations.  The articles appear in The Guardian, The Hill, The New York Magazine where the negotiators are said to be terrified of Congress and France24.

If the Science is settled, incontrovertible and 97% of scientist swear that this is correct, shouldn’t they be able to make a convincing argument?  Climate change seems to be more political than climate science.

Any “legally binding deal” that violates the Constitution is null and void.

I am amazed at how many people think that: laws, agreements, and international treaties take precedent over the Constitution.
