Chris Mooney carries the meme that recent flooding in Texas and the Indian heat wave are sure signs of climate change.  And he starts it with the expertise of Bill Nye. For those too young to remember, Nye doesn’t measure up to Don Herbert as a TV scientist.

  1. I grew up with Mr. Wizard (Don Herbert). He was a major contributor to my curiosity about how things work. I wish his clone were available today.

  2. Bill Nye, the “High Fiving White Guy”.
Comedic actor telling climate jokes that no one is laughing at.

  3. Bill Nye the “Mechanical Engineer” guy just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

  4. “We’re going to need another Timmy!!!”

    Oh, wait… that’s Mr. Lizard.
